Floor Burns

Financial Support
Like public radio or TV, you can read this entire book online without a moment’s pause.  And I will take so exception to anyone who does just that.  After all, I put Floor Burns online so that people may read, enjoy and help me finish it.

But, if you’d like to help offset the thousands of dollars I've invested in the research and writing of Floor Burns, I would be deeply grateful. Anything and everything you can spare will be of help, as will your willingness to pass the word on to anyone you feel may be interested in this remarkable little sliver of Central New York, Polish-American and 20th Century urban history. Photos
I am in need of photos of that era, particularly digital ones.  If you'd like to post your late 60’s-vintage photo(s) digitally along with a brief caption, you can go here.  Or if you’d like to send me physical copies of your photos (I cannot assure safe return of any materials) along with a brief description (and your name for photo credit), you can mail them to the address you’ll find here.

Stories, Clarifications and Corrections
Since Floor Burns is about a time and event that exists more in the minds of those who lived it than on any set of pages.  The book is, therefore, largely an oral history and collection of first-hand accounts.  If you have a story you'd like to share about the 1966-67 City or Parochial League basketball seasons, but in particular Sacred Heart, Corcoran High or that year's All-City game at the War Memorial, I’d love to hear from you.

There are a few ways to submit your thoughts and comments.  You can go to the Floor Burns open forum page here and offer a brief (or extended) summary of your account/insight (or comment on others).

You can email me directly.  Or you can call, using the contact information you’ll find here.

Thank you for visiting my Floor Burns site, and thank you in advance for any and all help you may be able to provide.
